Bullet Train made fight banter funny again

Up until now Marvel has really ruined fight banter for me in an attempt to make every character more like Spider-Man or more humorous. I watched bullet train recently and for the first time in a while the fight banter (mostly from Brad Pitt) was actually kind of funny and fit well.
