Those "recap the plot of films" YouTube channels that have become numerous recently are incredibly frustrating

They add no commentary, no analysis and always have incredibly annoying clickbaity titles that don't even say what the film they're covering is called. Every time I watch a video essay or similar about a film on YouTube (especially a sci fi or horror film) my recomends always get flodded with these shallow recap videos.I honestly don't understand what anyone gets out of them, they're literally just condensed versions of the movies without any tension or atmosphere. I guess it makes it so people can say they "kinda" have seen a film without actually having spent time seeing it. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/JkOs05L
