Why can't Hollywood make a good space adventure movie that is not Guardians of the Galaxy or Star Wars?
My passion for the space genre was reignited recently with Vernor Vinge's "A Fire Upon the Deep" and "Mass Effect".I really loved the MCU but after the Eternals my interest in comic book movies has waned. I still enjoy them but not as much as I used to.Why can't Hollywood make a good "Space Opera" movie that is not Star Wars or GOTG? It seems like when they try it usually ends up bad. Jupiter Ascending and Valerian.Perhaps Dune was a step in the right direction. I heard Bradley Cooper is making a movie based on the "Hyperion Cantos".I hope the next big thing at the theaters are space movies as well as historical movies and romantic comedies. I am really excited for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, Oppenheimer, Barbie, and Dune 2. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/zCEtqB3
