What's a movie I can watch with my mom tonight?

I'm hanging out with my mom this week because she isn't feeling well. We would love a good movie to watch tonight. What are some recommendations for movies that are comforting, but also unique and interesting? The sort of movies I could enjoy with a cup of tea and a warm blanket. I'd love something that doesn't particularly have frightening or intense elements, but that also wouldn't put me to sleep, perhaps. Something with a solid script.
