Movies that you loved when you were younger that don’t hold up as an adult?
I’m sure everyone has a few. I rewatched Mallrats for the first time in many years the other day. My sister and I loved this movie when we were kids. I might get some hate for this but it’s really just a dumber rewrite of Clerks. The Dante/Randall dichotomy are reworked with different actors and less nuance. The goofy happy ending is ridiculous whereas Clerks was more ambiguous. Jason Lee is still fun to watch in this film, but I found the main character (played by Jeremy London) very unlikable. Still some good scenes, but not near as good as I remember. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/NDRCeAs
