How much love for the movie Galaxy Quest?

When the movie came out in 1999 I really didn’t want to see it in the theaters, but I went with my friends because I was home from college and it was Christmas Break. I decided that going to a movie that I really didn’t want to go to was better than doing nothing at all, so I went.I was shocked at how much I loved this movie and how smart and funny it was. Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell all knocked it out of the park, and the writing was really good.It’s funny that a movie I had no interest in seeing at all turned out to be one of my favorite movies of all time. The kicker was that when I met my wife one of the first movies we talked about was Galaxy Quest and how much we both loved it! We watch the movie all the time and love it.
