Who's an actor that was typecast, but performed spectacularly in a role against that type?
Obviously some people don't mind being typecast - Dwayne Johnson loves being the jacked hero, probably always will be, nothing wrong with it.But when Jim Carrey did the Truman Show, he showed that he could do more than be a bumbling goof. I'm sure earlier roles of his demonstrate that, too, but from '94 to '97 it was far from his usual role.Who else broke their typecast in a big way? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/ndWZhgy
