What movie did you think would be a flop but turned out to be a success?
My choice would be Independence Day (1996). I remember seeing the early marketing and trailers and thinking "eh, this looks ok but there is no way this is going to be a summer blockbuster." Imagine my face when this movie was an insane summer blockbuster. Turned out to be a really fun sci-fi movie that's worthy of many rewatches. The sequel, well ... we won't talk about that. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/ixOL1cn
