What ever happened to Anna Paquin?

I genuinely assumed TRUE BLOOD was going to revive her career and it didn't. I often wonder what would have happened had MARGARET never been delayed, how different her career might have been? For a period of time, she was making giant steps as a character actress and although TRUE BLOOD made her more mainstream, it also prevented her from her streak as a supporting actress in films because it put her in a box.
