Question: In Django Unchained (2012) why did Django remove the saddle / bridle?
After Django kills the "escorts" to the mining company, (the scene where he shoots and blows up Tarantino) .. he then strips the horse of its saddle and bridle, before riding back on his journey for revenge. Why did he do that? Was it symbolism about freedom (freeing the horse from its chains - as it were) .. or is there some other meaning to it that I'm missing? Because, it seems like it would be an incredibly uncomfortable ride. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/g60P2Uw
