Any fans of Silent Hill (2006) with Radha Mitchell & Sean Bean? What did you think of this film?

I've always been a huge huge fan of the Silent Hill games since the first game had me hooked back in 1999, I loved that game, it was so creepy & had a great story. When this film was announced, I was so hyped, now, some fans really really really hated this film when it came out, some didn't understand it all, some still do hate it because it doesn't follow the game's story verbatim but aside from a few characters missing or added, it's still pretty close to the original game. Many didn't understand the ending or the plot, it didn't seem that hard to understand tbh. I can understand some feeling that way but I honestly viewed it as a different take on a story within the world of Silent Hill, kinda like how some directors changed some films based on books etc. like Kubrick doing Stephen King's The Shining but changing alot of the story and fans taking it as a different take with similar setting & characters.I remember over on IMDb when the film came out, some complaining 'Why did Rose scream when she saw the creatures?', which was always a weird complaint because I>! mean, you're lost and looking for your daughter in this strange fog covered town and there's a some creepy skinless little children running around, some creatures spewing acid at you, a large man ripping the flesh off of a woman and throwing it at you & also trying to stab you, and a creepy creature in the bathroom spreading disease to everything he touches, of course she would scream at these things, who wouldn't? Anyone would do the same lol.!< Anyway, what did you think of this film and it's performances? What did you think of the ending? Did it catch you offguard?
