Christian Bale is the best working actor.

I’ve obviously seen this argument explored before but I really am curious to see who people hail as “best.”Of course it’s a hard thing to quantify, and you can specify it really however you choose, but my criteria is the actor/actress who has the greatest range and depth.Pretend the actor was only on screen for a few minutes, across all/any genre. Who would make the most impact? Who would be the most believable?For my money, today it is Christian Bale. He can make me feel everything about him with just a couple of looks. Immense talent.Keen to hear your thoughts. And just to clarify I’m talking about best today, in 2022. DDL is retired, sorry folks.
