Can we talk about how good Paul Raci is in The Sound of Metal?
Ahmed is obviously a revelation, but, honestly, Raci is the cement keeping this film grounded. Such a tremendously honest portrayal of that character. His personal background--he was raised by deaf parents, I believe--was certainly helpful in developing that character, but there's something to be said about his natural ability to emote alongside and connect with a bona fide stud like Ahmed. He absolutely nails his final scene, and it's a heartbreaker.Discuss. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3gFUn98
