Are there any director's cuts that are worse than the studio cut?

It seems like whenever there's a director's cut (Aliens, Kingdom of Heaven, Justice League, Blade Runner, the list goes on and on) it is miles better than the version the studio tried to make happen. It's really easy to make the argument for 'just let artists make their art', but are there any instances where the studio cut is unarguably better than the director's cut? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/FicVJH1
