What characters, plot points, or other elements of a film were inserted due to IRL drama?

This post is inspired by an episode of Brooklyn 99 where Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) inadvertently pisses off a hollywood producer. The producer writes a character into his show named "Jake Peralta" who has a single line of dialogue: "I'm Jake Peralta, the grossest perv of all time!" This character is then shot about 10,000 times in the chest, all to take petty revenge on the real Peralta. You can read a recap of the episode here: https://ift.tt/2LLP1Kz all the drama in Hollywood, I have to imagine that stuff like this happens all the time under our noses, and I'm curious to learn more about the behind-the-scenes beefs that made their way onto actual films. Was Hans Gruber just a snub at some guy who had an affair with a producer's wife? Probably not. But I bet there's some juicy stories just waiting to be told. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2K36Rna
