What’s this trope called?

I’m talking about when you have person 1 about to shoot person 2, there’s a gunshot sound offscreen or some other indication that person 1 killed person 2, but then you find out that person 2 or someone else were actually the ones who fired the shot and killed person 1. An example I can think of off the top of my head is at the end of the Mandalorian episode 1 when IG-11 is about to kill Baby Yoda but Mando shoots him first. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3j37ykj
