What lead or supporting cast members have rarely been given credit by the film industry when it comes to the range of their ability and what they can bring to a role?

I'd nominate John Leguizamo. He's handled everything from slapstick comedy to drama to musicals to comic adaptations with real dedication to his characters. I feel like he's often been overlooked for casting despite taking his roles seriously even when they aren't the best parts. I'm not surprised that he escapes into his parts given what his life of acting got him away from regarding his childhood, but from everything I've seen he really does show gratitude for what he has and what he's accomplished even if it hasn't always led to much in the way of acclaim.Who else should have perhaps gotten more fanfare or a better shot at more projects? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2TU83kX
