Movies that mock their genre while also being a great example of it.

Many of my favorite movies are ones where they manage to mock/joke about the standard tropes of a genre while still being a solid movie for that genre.Some examples would be 'Cabin in the Woods' for the Horror/Thriller genre, 'Hot Fuzz' for Cop/Action films, etc...I'm sure there's some gems out there I haven't seen and was hoping some of y'all might have some similar favorites to share. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2Nde7AI
