Now is the time for a Batman Beyond movie.

The DCEU is a mess. Superman is gone, Batfleck most likely as well. The Batman film by Matt Reeves seems to be progressing at a slow pace and who knows what its final fate will be amid tension at Warner Bros.Batman is still WB’s prized property, but it needs a drastic change to keep people interested in a saturated superhero film market. They aren’t going to recapture the success of The Dark Knight trilogy. And with all the controversy on whether Affleck will return or not, I think it would be best to scrap it all and concentrate on something fresh.Enter Batman Beyond. It’s been screaming for a film adaptation since the series concluded. Cast a young lead who can carry the franchise for a few films and give us an old and grizzled Bruce Wayne. It’s also a style/setting that Marvel hasn’t really tapped yet. Think a Blade Runner 2049 future aesthetic but with Batman.It is time WB....and I vote bringing Keaton back for Bruce. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2xISaBV
