Films where the happy ending we are shown wouldn't actually last long for the characters involved.

An example - 50 First Dates. Seems like a relatively happy ending, but when you think about it, it's fairly horrific for Drew Barrymore's character. She wakes up every day with a stranger and some kids that claim they're hers, she gets shown a video tape of what's happened to her, but her only recognisable loved ones like her father and brother are on the other side of the world and can't console her, every day she would be on the verge of a full blown panic attack over not knowing what's real.Another example - Source Code. Not only did he just create multiple alternate realities, but he ends up in the body of somebody he barely knows anything about. The ramifications of that are crazy. The girl he's going out with thinks he's someone else, his family doesn't know their actual loved one's body and mind has been taken over by an impostor. Then there's the mental state of the lead character, every day, he'll wake up in the wrong body, in the wrong life, in the wrong reality, it would surely be enough to make you go insane.Any others you can think of? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2IoHFXD
