It always bugs me that 9 out of the 10 films I want to see each year are released within a single month.

Don't get me wrong... I understand that the film studios wait until awards season in order to capitalize on the free promotion. But from a movie fan's perspective, it's a bummer to have so few appealing options for much of the year and then abruptly switch over to a period in which I can't possibly keep up with my desires.
