My new favourite movie trope: Someone hacking traffic lights to all go green, and everyone immediately driving as fast as they can into each other.

Doesn’t seem to happen much anymore, but during the 00’s, there was definitely a few heist movies that included the job of hacking traffic cameras and lights. So the idea that you see the light go green, you get ready to take off, you see everyone else do the same thing, and your reaction is to absolutely gun it into the other cars.
