In the John Wick movies, the spoken Russian is so bad that a native speaker often also needs the subtitles

In case you were wondering how bad the Russian accents are in these movies, rest assured--very bad. When John Wick himself attempts Russian, I usually rely on the subtitles to understand him. When supposed Russians speak it, it's mostly understandable, but almost never sounds even remotely like a native speaker.Some of the best action movies ever; mainly especially the first one. The Russian takes me out of it a lot because it sounds like what it is--people who have never before spoken a Slavic language who were briefly coached on their lines.
